Dossier Roaming VS

Naturally, you also want to be available to all your friends and contacts when you are on holiday in the United States. But what do you do if you don't have WiFi? In this file, we cover how you can continue calling, texting, and browsing the web in the United States.

What is roaming?

When you use roaming, you are using a different network than that of your provider. That is possible, for example, when you are on holiday abroad. If your provider does not have a network in the country of your destination and you want to use the internet, call, or send texts, you do so via the network of another provider that does have a network there. Roaming allows your phone to connect to such a network.

Can I use roaming in the US with all providers?

Not every US provider offers a special bundle for roaming. Below, we explain which providers offer such a bundle. With the other providers you can use internet in the US, but you pay a lot of extra money for it.
